Congrats to our own Kevin Lofgren, who has been nominated to be one of the 2008 "21 Leaders for the 21st Century" as selected by the Collin County Business Press. Here's a bit about the honor from the CCBP:

"21 Leaders for the 21st Century" is an honor given to talented people who will be leaders in the new millennium. As the name implies, 21 people are chosen for this award. They represent people in Collin County, Texas (Richardson, Plano, Allen, McKinney, Frisco), who have demonstrated leadership in varied fields and hold the promise of leadership into the foreseeable future.

“The 21 Leaders for the 21st Century program is a very fitting acknowledgment for individuals who might not otherwise receive the recognition and thanks they deserve for doing so much to make Collin County the great place it is to live and work,” said Andrew Hardin, publisher of Inside Collin County Business.

21 Leaders for the 21st Century is a recognition program for community service to encourage continuous development in the dynamic growth of Collin County...Someone who was already a member nominated each person for inclusion.

Everyone at Farstar is pulling for Kevin to receive this award. Partly because he deserves it, but mainly because we hope it'll get him to stop wearing knickers and newsboy caps – which are so 19th century.
