Recession? For us, it's more like recess.

Are you like me? Are you an avid fan of Yo Gabba Gabba? Wait, wrong post. I mean, are you really, really digging this economy? You know, the one we keep getting told is the worst since the Great Depression even though Apple keeps selling iPhones by the bucketful and Donald Trump has yet to cut back on hairspray? Okay, okay. Even though those economic indicators are relatively peachy, we admit that the economy as a whole is feeling a bit hungover. Or so we've heard.

Nonetheless, I just have to admit that Farstar LOVES this economy.

Why? It's simple. People come to us when they need to generate revenue or foster customer loyalty. Or even foster revenue or generate loyal customers. And right now, more than anything else, we all need to focus on retaining the customers we do have and generating new (jargon alert) revenue streams. And, wouldn't you know it, doing those things just happens to be our specialty.

You see, Farstar has never been about finding the easy customers. You know, the ones you know want what you're selling and who already know you exist. We find the customers who should want your product but don't – yet – because they either don't know you (and it) exist or because they don't realize they have a need for it. They're the "qualified disinteresteds," and you can read more about them here.

The point is, we find the customers no one else bothers with even during the good times. So when things get a little dicey, do you think a typical marketing or ad agency is really going to know what to do for you? We think not.

We, however, remain confident in our craft and our ability to use it to your advantage. In fact, we were even so bold (I know, shocking) as to put the following ad declaring as much in our local paper:

Chances are, your marketing budget is going to get cut. You know this is a mistake and we know it's a mistake. But that's how it's always been and until you're put in charge, it's how it will always be. Which is all the more reason to turn to us for a little marketing (read: revenue generating) magic. And discover just how fun cyclical downturns can be.
