I know I've communicated this in a few different ways here on the site. But just in case you would like to know exactly what attributes make someone successful (or not) here at Farstar, this one's for you.

We truly do believe that if you're not willing to take risks - if you're not willing to fail in order to reach success - you will not succeed here.

If you're not willing to ask for help or willing to admit when you need it, you will not succeed here.

If you don't have a passion for learning, you will not succeed here.

If you use cockiness to mask your lack of confidence, you will not succeed here.

If you aren't somewhat humbled by your Farstar peers' strengths, you will not succeed here.

If you are concerned with hurting others' feelings to the extent that you withhold criticism or feedback, you will not succeed here.

If you are sensitive to direct feedback given to you by your peers, you will not succeed here.

So who does succeed here?

I would say the humble yet confident souls that thrive at Farstar are those that many would mistakenly think of as lacking strength or self-confidence. I would encourage those people not to mistake humility with weakness. Just as we don't mistake cockiness for confidence.

Before our re-birth in 2005, we had our fair share of the kind of people who don't succeed here. And true to our "measure and adjust" philosophy, that's how we learned who does.

I'm pretty sure I've belabored the point by now, so forgive me. But do me a favor. If you come interview at Farstar, mention this post. I'd like to make sure you've read it.
